Hyundai is gearing up to launch the highly anticipated next-generation Creta Facelift in the Indian market, with a rumored debut on January 16, 2024. Expected to be a game-changer in the compact SUV segment, the Creta competes with popular models like Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate.

In the latest spy images, the Creta Facelift showcases a completely redesigned digital instrument cluster, drawing inspiration from the Hyundai Alcazar. The pictures also reveal a dashcam unit for both front and rear recording and a new steering wheel design.

Externally, the new generation Creta boasts a fresh LED grille, split headlamps, revised front and rear bumpers, new alloy wheels, and distinctive H-shaped LED taillights with a connecting LED light bar. The overall design exudes a sporty and road presence, setting it apart from its predecessor.

Inside the cabin, significant changes include a redesigned central console, a new layout for the dashboard, and premium leather seats. The cabin promises enhanced comfort with soft-touch features at multiple points.

Hyundai Creta Facelift Safety features

Feature-wise, the Creta Facelift will come equipped with a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and a panoramic sunroof. Other highlights encompass a 360-degree camera, ADAS suite, ambient lighting with multiple color options, wireless charging, dedicated AC vents for rear passengers, dual-zone climate control, and an advanced music system.

Safety takes center stage with Level 2 ADAS technology, offering features such as lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, high-beam assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and driver warning alerts. The SUV also includes six airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring system, hill hold assist, a 360-degree camera, and reverse parking sensors.

Powering the Creta Facelift are expected engine options, including a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-liter diesel, and the anticipated addition of a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.

The launch of the Hyundai Creta Facelift is anticipated with great excitement, with an expected price range of approximately INR 11 lakh to INR 18 lakh (ex-showroom). It is set to compete fiercely with rivals such as the Kia Seltos facelift, Honda Elevate, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and MG Astor.
